Spearhead Project Earth has an exciting few weeks ahead, bringing together art, environmental education, community engagement, and hands-on stewardship throughout the Delaware River region.

Thursday, September 17 – Live Mural Painting at Palmyra Cove Nature Park
Mural artist Dan Koval will transform the SPE truck with a custom environmental mural. Friends, family, volunteers, and supporters are invited to join us from 2:00–4:00 PM to watch the mural take shape, enjoy music and refreshments, and spend time with the SPE community.

Saturday, September 19 – Yardley Harvest Day & SPE Learning Center Open House
During Yardley Harvest Day, SPE will open the doors to its new Learning Center at the historic Grist Mill, 10 N. Main Street. From 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, visitors can explore the new space and learn about SPE’s environmental work, volunteer and internship opportunities, hands-on education, and future community programming.

Thursday, October 1 – Johnson & Johnson Employee Volunteer Cleanup
SPE will welcome Johnson & Johnson employees for a private corporate volunteer event at Quaker Penn Park in Morrisville. Employees will travel by boat to the Delaware River shoreline for a hands-on cleanup, helping remove debris while learning more about SPE’s work to protect and restore the river. This is a Johnson & Johnson employee event and is not open to the public.

Together, these events showcase the many ways SPE is expanding its impact through community engagement, environmental education, corporate partnerships, volunteerism, and direct action to create cleaner rivers and a brighter future.
