Help Map Marine Debris Along the Delaware River

Join Spearhead Project Earth and help collect real environmental data through NOAA’s Marine Debris Monitoring and Assessment Project (MDMAP). Volunteers help document the types, amounts, and locations of debris found along the Delaware River using standardized NOAA protocols.

In 2025, our team completed 11 monitoring events, documented 1,452 debris items, and trained 12 community scientists.

No experience is necessary. We’ll provide the training and tools you need to take part.
